Chair Professor Jong-Tsun Huang, former Minister of Education, former President of CMU, distinguished scholar and poet, has been an influential figure in education and politics. Professor Huang is always passionate in public affairs and continues to make contributions to Taiwan. We had a great honor in inviting Professor Huang to give an inspiring speech on 'Needs, Structure, and Leadership: from the 921 Earthquake, and from MOE to CMU' on 15 December 2016. His passionate speech has aspired the CMU students and faculty to public affairs and noble leadership.
