Professor Masamine Jimba, President-Elect of the Asia Pacific Academic Consortium for Public Health (APACPH), and Professor and Chair at The Department of Community and Global Health, Faculty of Graduate School of Medicine at the University of Tokyo, paid a visit to the College of Public Health on 12 May 2017. At the welcoming meeting, Professor Jimba briefed on the academic development of the University of Tokyo, which ranked at 34th in 2016 QS World University Rankings. Professor Jimba also met with CMU Chancellor, Chair Professor Wen-Hwa Lee for future collaboration. Afterward, Professor Jimba gave an inspiring and insightful speech “Global Community Health Development” and shared us very interesting fieldwork experience in Bangladesh.
