Professor and Dean, Academic Affairs, China Medical University, Taichung, Taiwan, Feb 2017-July 2017;

Professor and Dean, Graduate Student Affairs, China Medical University, Taichung, Taiwan, August 2015.8- Jan 2017;

Professor and Chair, Department of Occupational Safety and Health, China Medical University, Taiwan, August 2012– July 2015;

Professor, Department of Occupational Safety and Health, China Medical University, Taiwan, Sep 2011– present;

Associate Professor, Department of Occupational Safety and Health, China Medical University, Taiwan, August 2006– August 2011.

PERSONAL STATEMENT OF INTEREST:

I elucidate whether and how exposures to environmental factors contribute to the lung function, respiratory diseases, rheumatic diseases, kidney diseases, birth outcomes and brain diseases by studying a variety of unique populations, including school children, nationwide registration data, and large population-based cohorts. My current research focuses on development of novel study designs for individual and small-area analyses, use of novel remote sensing and mobile technologies in epidemiology, spatiotemporal modelling of environmental exposures and risks, and projections for health impact of climate change.
